The effects from a drug can vary between people and just because you have taken a drug before and not had any problems previously does not mean you will be ok the next time.
The facts
- Lesbian and Bisexual women (LABW) are 5 times more likely to have taken drugs
- 1 in 10 LABW has taken cocaine (compared to 3% of women in general)
- 1 in 10 LABW has taken ecstacy
- 1 in 3 LABW has taken drugs in the past year
- Up to 1 in 3 LGBT people will suffer alcohol or drug addictions compared to 1 in 10 heterosexual people
