Love Equal Marriage
The Lesbian & Gay Foundation have launched a new campaign to encourage people to fight for equality and support same-sex marriage.
Whether you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or straight, or if you plan to get married or not it’s incredibly important that you make your voice heard in support of this important issue.
A Campaign For All
Everyone should have access to the institution of marriage. This is not about gay rights – it’s about equal rights.

We are calling for people to make sure their MP votes for equality and supports same sex marriage. Take action now and support our campaign.
Government Consultation
In March 2012 The Government launched a consultation which set out their proposals to enable same-sex couples to have a civil marriage. The Lesbian & Gay Foundation submitted a response and urged people to take part.
This consultation ended in June 2012 and received 228,000 responses, one of the biggest responses ever to a government consultation.
The results of this consultation are to be announced in December and we have launched our campaign ‘Love Equal Marriage’ to ensure this important issue gets the support it deserves.
