A Guide To Your Rights

A new resource has just been produced by the Lesbian and Gay Foundation to help inform lesbian,gay and bisexual people of their legal and civil rights.
A Guide to Your Rights is a 56 page information booklet featuring up-to-date information from civil partnerships, employment rights, Sexual Orientation Regulations to all the major UK legislation changes affecting LGB people over the last ten years.
This guide has been kindly supported by O'Neill Patient Solicitors and Amicus. the union.
Included in the full colour guide are pages on Section 28, the age of consent, hate crimes, sexual offences, adoption, immigration, education, housing, HIV criminalisation and LGB rights around the world.
At the back of the guide there is also a useful list of contacts relating to the topics covered.
The resource will be freely available across the North West from 17th May to coincide with theĀ International Day Against Homophobia.
