Aim High and be inspired

LGB inspirational guide now available to download
Twenty of the most powerful and influential lesbians and gay men have been interviewed for a ground-breaking new LGF information resource.
Each of the individuals who feature in the Guide have achieved huge success in their chosen professions, such as sport, politics, business, media and the arts. Included in the booklet, which is called 'Aim High', are Tory Shadow Minister Alan Duncan; ITV Director Dawn Airey; former NBA basketball player John Amaechi; international film star Sir Ian McKellen; the Prime Minister's closest advisor Spencer Livermore; and punk rocker Beth Ditto.
The interviewees act not only as living examples of how LGB people can achieve just as much success as their heterosexual counterparts, but offer invaluable advice, guidance and encouragement.
The 88 page booklet aims to encourage young LGB people to reach their goals and to show sexuality should not get in the way of success in the workplace, by providing a selection of role models to aspire and draw inspiration from.
The resource was the brainchild of Liam Keogh, who runs LE Communications, a national media company which specialises in public relations. It was written by Liam in conjunction with the Lesbian and Gay Foundation, who designed and produced the Guide.
