Help LGB kids and inspire the next generation by helping others Aim High!
Inspire the next generation of LGB kids
Recent research has highlighted that 65% of young lesbian, gay and bisexual people have reported being homophobically bullied at school and are far more likely to self harm than their heterosexual peers. That is why seeing positive representations of lesbian, gay and bisexual people in schools is so important.
Our Aim High Campaign features 20 high profile LGB names, who have succeeded in their chosen field; whether it be business, sport, politics, publishing or entertainment. Homo Heroes like Sir Ian McKellen, Beth Ditto and Russell T Davies tell their stories to inspire the next generation of heroes and highlight that sexual orientation is no barrier to success.

"It is essential to talk to 12 and 13 year olds because they absorb what's thrown at them, whether it be homophobia or tolerance - and we have to make sure it's the positive stuff"
Sir Ian McKellen
If we get enough homo heroes to donate and exceed the £5000 target, all additional monies will go toward the LGF’s work challenging homophobia, and the LGF’s services which work to empower lesbian, gay and bisexual individuals and communities.
