Friends remember David Brown - 1 year on

September 21st will be the first anniversary of the death of David Teagan Brown.

David T. BrownThe 24-year-old Burnley student was found dead outside the door to his flat following a night out in Manchester's gay village.

A post-mortem examination revealed that Brown died as the result of a stab wound to his left thigh. David Brown had lived and worked in Manchester for three years but had aspired to go and live in Spain to teach English. He had just enrolled to learn Spanish at Manchester Metropolitan University so he could achieve his dream.

His family described him as a "fun-loving and friendly person, who enjoyed life to the full."

Thirty-nine year old David Alder was charged over the death of David Brown when he appeared recently via video link to Manchester Crown Court. Alder pleaded 'not guilty' for mugging and murdering David. The trial date has been set for the 8th December 2008.

David's close friends have created a special website to show how much they loved and cared for him, and are asking people who knew David to remember him on the 21st September.
