Buy and sell on eBay

The Lesbian & Gay Foundation are taking their fundraising into the 21st Century by encouraging people to donate via eBay, the on-line auction site.

You can donate as little as 10% of what you make on any one auction (minimum £2) or if you agree to a 100% donation eBay will also donate the listing fees.

If you've got anything to sell on eBay that's lying around you can select the option to donate a percentage to charity at step 3 of the listing process, which will bring up a search window.

Set up an account with the charity MissionFish who sort out all the payments – please remember to agree to Gift Aid. Then simply type in LGF and hit the search button. Now click on the Lesbian & Gay Foundation and press OK. Next, you select the percentage that you wish to donate and complete your listing as normal.

As well as getting put at the top of any search results, you’ll also get an eBay for Charity ribbon which really makes your item stand out from the crowd.
