What is a Gift in Celebration?
A Gift in Celebration is a unique way of celebrating a special occasion while supporting The Lesbian and Gay Foundation’s essential work.
Rather than receiving presents at your event, you can ask guests to make a donation to The Lesbian and Gay Foundation. They can donate through our secure ‘just giving’ website, by phone or by cheque.
The money we receive will continue to support our ongoing work to End Homophobia and Empower People.

By following the simple instructions you will be able to create a page that is personal to you.
- You can write your own message about your celebration, this will be displayed to everyone visiting the page.
- You can add your own photo or picture to bring your page alive.
- You can choose to display the total amount donated and you can choose to display the list of donors.
All you then need to do is email all your friends and family and invite them to visit your page and make a donation in honour of your special occasion. It couldn’t be easier!
If however, computers are something of a no-go for some of your relations or friends, then cheques made payable to ‘The Lesbian and Gay Foundation’ are also very welcome.
