Welcome to Eurovision. Or as they say in Serbia, Dobrodosli u Eurovision!
Throwing a Eurovision Party is a great way to have fun and raise money for good causes like the Lesbian and Gay Foundation at the same time!
We have lots of ideas to make sure that your Eurovision party goes with a ‘swing and a rock and a roll’ (as Bobby Sox would say) The most important thing though is to have fun! We hope that this year’s Eurovision Song Contest is a memorable one so if you take any good photos, please send them to us – we’ll try to include them in outnorthwest or put them on the LGF website.

Least but definately not least....... the money!
If you’re holding your party in a pub or other venue simply charge guests an entry fee, stressing that all the money is going to charity. It’s always worth having a colletion on the door as people leave as well If your party is at home, let everyone know that you’re holding the party in aid of.
You might decide to suppliment the door donation with a sweepstake – ask your guests to pay £2, for example, to pick a coutnry from the hat. At the end of the contest, the person who picks the winner gets half the pot; the other half goes towards your fundraising total.
