In 2006/07 during over 1,800 visits to groupwork sessions, people were able to explore coming out, meet others and gain vital support and information in a safe and supportive environment.

Black North West logo

Black North West

This group is open to people who identify as a black (or are identified as black) and either lesbian, gay, bisexual or who are curious about their sexuality. The minimum age to attend the group is 18 years old, with no upper age limit.

Icebreakers is a self-help group which caters for gay and bisexual men who are coming out, coming out of a relationship, feeling isolated or who are new to Manchester.

40+ Men's Group logo

40+ Men's Group

40+ is open to gay and bisexual men who are aged 40 and over. The group offers an opportunity for men to come along and make new friends in a safe environment.

Carousel is a relaxed social group for lesbian and bisexual women.It provides a valuable opportunity for women to come together, both in and away from the gay scene and take part in varied activities which are planned by the group themselves and range from quizzes and meals out to video evenings and discussions as well as a lot of laughs.

Being in a relationship with a woman while being attracted to men can be a very isolating experience. The aim of the Gay Married Men's Group is to ofer support to men who have experienced this ‘predicament.'

An autonomous support group for bisexual people over the age of 18. BiPhoria meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 7.30pm.

LGF Art Class logo

LGF Art Class

The Art Class is a group which is facilitated by volunteers of the Lesbian & Gay Foundation. The group is open to anyone who wishes to paint in a non-judgemental, safe space. Equipment is provided and every ability from novice to expert are fully supported by the group lead.

The service runs from 6pm until 8pm every Wednesday and is open to any LGB who needs advice and support on quitting smoking.
