Face 2 Face Counselling Service

1 in 2 of us will suffer depression and seek the services of a counsellor or therapist.

The Face to Face service at the LGF is a well-established counselling service. We have a team of over 20 lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual counsellors, who are either diploma qualified or training for their qualifications.

The team has been serving the NorthWest’s LGB community for over a decade and are there for support with all aspects of peoples lives. Among the many issues we regularly help to support are:

We also offer specialist relationship counselling for couples and individuals. Our service is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and as such, agrees to work to the BACP Ethical Framework and receives referrals from individuals and health care professionals. A fee payment system is in operation, based on a ratio of £1 for every £1,000 of income. However, nobody will be denied access to counselling because of an inability to pay.

“Some mornings I wake up and I’m just overwhelmed by feelings of self-hate. I just couldn’t go and talk about this with anybody else.”
