If you find a change
By improving your own breast awareness you will know better than anyone how your breasts normally look and feel. If you do notice a change then you must get advise quickly. We advise seeing your G.P. If your doctor is male and you’d rather see a woman doctor then you can visit a local Well Women Clinic.
Remember that most breast changes will be harmless so they may be able to reassure you that there’s no reason to be worried when he or she examines your breasts. If the doctor thinks the change could be hormonal they may ask you to come back at a different time in your menstrual cycle. Alternatively they may send you to a breast clinic for a more detailed examination.
