Big Spring Camp

Outdoor pursuits charity OutdoorLads has launched the programme for its annual adventure extravaganza aimed at gay and bisexual lads and men in North Wales this May.

Held over the second May Bank Holiday in the Snowdonia National Park, Big Spring Camp offers a huge range of adventure activities.  Whether you are a city slicker wanting to do something new or a hardened adrenaline junkie, the event has something for you.

Led by OutdoorLads’ fully trained leaders, you can enjoy leisurely half-day walks or hard-core treks up the highest mountain in Wales, or perhaps you’d prefer to head for the beach! And with three whole days to enjoy you can try rock climbing on some of the best routes in Britain, mountain biking through the forest, canoeing, white water rafting, gorge walking, sea traversing, or even go underground and explore a disused mine.

After a long day out, come back to camp to enjoy a range of hot meals, fully stocked bar, hot showers and later into the evening dance till the early hours at the OutdoorLads party.

Exercise and outdoor activity is known for improving your mental health and wellbeing, so this can be a really good way of not only making your 'happier' but also expanding your social circle.

It’s easy to sign up and book your place now at www.bigspringcamp.co.uk
