British Transport Police Support IDAHO

The British Transport Police are once again marking IDAHO (The International Day Against Homophobia). Network Rail will be flying their rainbow flag in Manchester Piccadilly and they also have the following events happening on 17th May;

Liverpool Neighbourhood Policing Team will be resourcing an awareness stand in Liverpool Lime Street to highlight IDAHO day and provide key messages to members of the public to heighten awareness.

LINK (internal LGBT support group) will be conducting a specially designed training package to neighbourhood policing staff and others to assist with policing LGBT events and issues.

LINK will also be holding an open meeting to all members in Manchester.

Hosting a 'Railway Forum' to engage more positively with train operators on LGBT issues and good practice.
