Homo Heroes Awards: Community Champion of the Year

We have 21 people nominated across 7 categories and the choice of who wins the Homo Heroes Awards is up to you! Here we feature the nominations for the Community Champion of the Year Category.

·         Karen Richards and Stuart Donnelly- Karen and Stuart were nominated for their joint work in raising both the profile and funds to ensure that Sparkle, the annual Trans event in Manchester, was a success

·         Debs Bradshaw- Debs is the Chair of Lancashire LGBT Centre and works towards ensuring the rights and recognition of the LGB&T community in Lancashire.

·         Anthony D Cooper - Tony is the General Manager at Via on Canal Street in Manchester.  He regularly co-ordinates activities for local LGB&T organisations, supports community activities and also fundraises for charities such as Help for Heroes.
