Liverpool’s Spectrum of Spirituality

Spectrum of Spirituality 2012 is a unique inter-faith event occurring in Liverpool at the eve of the city’s Pride event on Friday 3rd August.

The LGBT interfaith event this year is following the nautical theme of Liverpool PRIDE. The theme this year is: SEA CHANGE, Be The Change You Want to See . It is a play on words from Mahatma Ghandi which conveys a sea of diversity, and the changing times we are in this summer.

The event will be held at the Quaker Meeting House, 22 School Lane (behind Primark, next to the Bluecoat Chambers) Liverpool L1 3BT. 7:00 p.m. on Friday, 3rd of August.

The Liverpool LGBT Choir will be singing, along with participation from LGBT people and their friends from many different faith traditions.

There will be a festive reception following with a variety of delicious foods. This is a well attended event. In addition, There will be an art exhibit featuring photographic works by Tremaine Cornish, local artists, and the art created for the interfaith event. An exhibit will also be presented entitled, "Hello Sailor."

Local artist, Richard Popplewell will be coordinating an open art workshop at the Quaker Meeting house on Saturday, 28th of July, everyone is welcome.
