Pride Therapy Sunday

On Sunday 26th August the LGF will be opening its doors and offering you the opportunity to work with a traditional talking therapist or the chance to join one of two small creative art or drama therapy groups, exploring the theme: What is your sense of Pride?

The art therapy group will use art material to create a images  number of images whilst the drama therapy group will use play, storytelling, improvisation, music, art and movement. Both groups will run from 11am to 1pm at the LGF's Community Resource Centre on Richmond Street in Manchester. The size of the groups will be limited to 5 people and places will be offered on a first come first served basis. Once a group has its 5 members the groups will close.

Traditional counselling will be available from 11am to 2pm (last appointment 1.30pm) with each counsellor offering 25 minute sessions. You can use these sessions to experience counselling for the first time or use them to talk with your counsellor about an issue that is troubling you. Appointments will again be offered on a first come first served basis.

All the therapies are FREE and open to all people from the age of 18 upwards. If you would like to experience some therapy on Sunday at Pride come to the LGF, doors will be open from 11am.
