The LGF’s testing services over Christmas

If you want to access sexual health clinics over Christmas then please be advised that the usual full STI LGF clinics that would have been on 24 and 31 December will not be operating and there will also be no rapid HIV testing clinic on Wednesday 25 December or Wednesday 1 January.

Home Testing Kits available now from The LGF

Gay and bisexual men, aged 16 and over, living in Greater Manchester can still order a postal kit for HIV to do at home from www.lgf.org.uk/hometesting

Order kits by 20 December to receive them by Christmas, but please be aware that it might take longer than usual for your kit to be processed at the lab, due to limited postal opening times during the holidays.

You can also collect kits from The LGF building 10am-7pm (last pop in at 6.30pm), Monday-Friday up to and including 24 December. Following this date, you can collect kits on the following days and times:

  • Friday 27 December 10am-6pm (last pop in at 5.30pm).
  • Monday 30 December 10am-6pm (last pop in at 5.30pm).
  • Tuesday 31 December 10am-5.30pm (last pop in at 5.30pm).

Normal service resumes on Thursday 2 January when kits are available 10am-7pm as usual.  For more information, visit: www.lgf.org.uk/hometesting
