Women's Pride, 21 August 6 - 9pm @ The LGF Resource Centre
The role of lesbian and bisexual women is often over-looked when examining LGB&T history. The LGF’s ‘Women’s Pride’ will be an evening celebrating the significant contribution women have made past and present to the gay rights movement, with a chance to further explore how women can contribute to the future of the movement.
The evening will include a screening of film clips and archive footage highlighting the efforts made by influential women, followed by a Q&A session led by a panel of representatives from local organisations, aiming to inspire women to continue their significant contributions within the LGB community.
Free food and refreshments will be provided on the night.
