The LGF launches Hate Crime Reporting Web-app

To mark International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (The LGF) have launched a new hate crime reporting web-app to encourage people to report hate crime incidents quickly and anonymously, if needed, and to ensure that no hate crime incidents go unreported.

The LGF receives GSK Impact Award

The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (The LGF) received an award of £30,000 for helping to improve the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual (LGB) people by successfully campaigning for NHS England to monitor the sexual orientation of staff and patients at the GSK Impact Awards ceremony last night.

Lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) people are often unable to get the right support for substance use as health services are not set up to meet their specific needs. A five-year study into drug and alcohol use among LGB people in England found they are seven times more likely to take illegal drugs compared to the general population, and twice as likely to binge drink.

The Village gets two life saving defibrillator machines!
