As part of Manchester Pride 2007, Manchester Register Office is conducting a civil partnership ceremony for 8 -10 couples at the Marriot V & A, on 24th August.
Manchester Register Office would like to ask all outnorthwest readers for ideas of the music they should make available for civil partnership ceremonies which take place in the city. John Pullen Registration & Coroner Services Manager told outnorthwest “We've got lots of traditional wedding stuff, and pop e.g. Lionel Ritchie, Boyzone, Righteous Brothers but it's all a bit dated (and very straight!!). It would be great fun to hear what your readers might like to walk down the aisle to - otherwise I will have to resort to bringing in my copy of "It's Raining Men" or even worse "It Should Have been Me...”
