Listen to the Pride parade live this year with a running commentary from Gaydio in conjunction with BBC Radio Manchester. Reporters will be placed along the whole of the parade route so you won’t miss a second. Tune in from 2pm on 87.7fm or online at www.gaydio.co.uk

The station, Manchester’s newest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) radio re-launched on the air waves on 6th August and has so far brought us the best in music, entertainment, chat shows, Canal Street sessions with lots of Manchester pride coverage yet to come.

The increasingly popular community radio initiative is broadcasting from a transmitter located in the heart of the village at the Lesbian and Gay Foundation headquarters on Princess Street. Available 24 hours a day to listeners all over the world through the internet and to Manchester folk through its FM channel the station is the perfect channel for the latest Manchester Pride coverage.

Over the weekend the guys and girls from Gaydio will be out and about on Canal Street and around the village chatting to Pride revellers about the festival so you can experience as much of Pride as possible, wherever you are. Don’t miss Gaydio’s live broadcast on Friday night with a guest PA from Cruz 101 and then on Saturday night with a live broadcast from Coyotes Bar followed by another on Sunday with Federation at the Apollo live.
