Cruz 16th birthday celebrated in style

Saturday 24th May saw Cruz 101 celebrate a landmark birthday. Not only have they reached the legal age of homosexuality, 16 years old, but have become one of the longest running gay clubs in the country, keeping Manchester’s Gay Village the most visited gay destination in the UK.
As we have come to expect for these huge events, the club had undergone a completely decadent transformation, with drapery and glitzy decoration everywhere.
Entertainment was of the highest standard yet again, with the fabulous Miss Cara presiding over the evening on a stage that looked like something from an X-Factor final with colour changing pillars, huge glitter balls and a spectacular light & pyrotechnic show. Joining Miss C on the stage were the chart toppers Booty Luv who performed their latest club hits including the fantastic ‘Some Kinda Rush’ filling the dance floor with screaming gay boys desperate for a bit of Booty Luvin! The Booty girls enjoyed themselves so much they stayed ‘til the end partying the night away with the Cruz boys and girls.
Generous as always, complimentary drinks were flowing freely, and as we arrived along with all of Cruz’s customers, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbly, getting everyone in the mood for a fantastic night of partying.
Fundraising on the night helped to raise money for the LGF and four lucky customers won a whole range of prizes.
Roll-on next year when Cruz celebrates their 17th!
