Manchester Queers support Ladyfest

Queers Support Ladyfest which takes place at TV21 Bar in Manchester's hip Northern Quarter on Thursday 26th June 2008 is a showcase of the cream of Manchester’s up and coming LGBT alternative music community.

Pink BombIt's a fundraiser for Ladyfest Manchester, a feminist festival taking place from 7th - 9th November 2008 at the Zion Centre, Hulme, showcasing Manchester’s thriving queer indie scene whilst showing solidarity for the feminist cause.

Performing on 26th June are Steve Lamacq and Marc Riley favourites Vile Vile Creatures, a 3-piece lesbian disco-punk, Ste McCabe who brings his political, sarcastic in-yer-face queer pop-punk fresh from his critically acclaimed debut release Pink Bomb earlier this year. Hooker feature Manchester 's much praised vocalist Zoe McVeigh and Girls Who Hold Hands a brand new solo grrrl-blues performer with bitter songs about failed lesbian relationships and revenge! There will also be DJ's playing the best in pop, queercore, indie and punk on the night.
