LGF are currently recruiting Trustee Board Members
The Lesbian and Gay Foundation has a vision of a fair and equal society where all lesbian, gay and bisexual people can achieve their full potential. Over the last seven years we have been hugely successful, and with an ambitious strategy in development the next five years promises even more. To support these ambitious plans, and the change and expansion this involves, we are seeking to recruit up to seven volunteers to join our Board of Trustee’s. We are particularly looking for individuals who are committed to our vision of Ending Homophobia, Empowering People, with skills and experiences in the following areas:
- Legal Knowledge
- Financial Management
- Marketing & PR
- Commercial Experience
- Accountancy
- Fundraising
- Understanding of the Public Sector
- Social Enterprises
As a trustee of the LGF you will be governed by Charity Law to strategically manage the future direction and further development of the UK’s leading Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual health charity.
We welcome applicants from all sections of the community, in particular female applicants - in order that our community is fairly represented on the board.
