We are very excited to announce our brand new guide for lesbian and bisexual women “Thanks for the Mammaries – a celebration of yours and hers”.
This full colour 32-page A6 resource is all about those beautiful things closest to our hearts – quite literally! - our breasts.
It’s a unique, fun, informative and light hearted celebration of breasts of all shapes and sizes, and also contains vital health information about the breast changes women can expect during their lifetimes, breasts and pregnancy, how to check for the early signs of breast cancer and what to expect if you receive a diagnosis.
The guide is particularly pertinent following the release last month of Stonewall's report on lesbian and bisexual women's health - Prescription for Change - which found that one in twelve lesbian and bisexual women aged between 50 and 79 have been diagnosed with breast cancer, compared to one in twenty women in general.
The ‘Thanks for the Mammaries’ guide is available now to download free from this website and will be hitting the streets of the North West shortly.
The guide will be available from all lesbian friendly venues including the LGF and LCP plus bars in Manchester’s gay village, Blackpool, Liverpool and Hebden Bridge.
