The LGF launches Hate Crime Reporting Web-app
To mark International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (The LGF) have launched a new hate crime reporting web-app to encourage people to report hate crime incidents quickly and anonymously, if needed, and to ensure that no hate crime incidents go unreported.

More ‘inclusive’ health services needed for LGB people with substance addiction
Lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) people are often unable to get the right support for substance use as health services are not set up to meet their specific needs. A five-year study into drug and alcohol use among LGB people in England found they are seven times more likely to take illegal drugs compared to the general population, and twice as likely to binge drink.

The Village gets two life saving defibrillator machines!
As a result of lots of feedback from The LGF’s Village Angels and their partnership work with the North West Ambulance Service, we have managed to secure two AED (Automated External Defibrillator) machines for The Village.
