The LGF is a registered charity fighting for and supporting lesbian, gay and bisexual people.

Policy & Research

This section of the website is focussed around policy, research and evidence.

The Lesbian & Gay Foundation is committed to ensuring that the communities that we work with and for have access to current information about local, regional and national policy.

We are constantly working to ensure that  our communities are able to effectively challenge decisions that affect them and are able  to access information and data that can support them in influencing and challenging the issues which affect them .

As an organisation, we aim to develop a strong understanding of local knowledge and how to effectively use community activity as a driver for local change.

We seek to increase the opportunities for consultation between lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans communities and service providers to give local voices a greater recognition.

We work to enable greater access to, and provide the opportunity to contribute to the evidence and data available around LGB&T individuals and communities.

We promote targeted and current information about policy design, implementation and development, including up to date information about legislation using rights that affect lesbian, gay and bisexual people.

It is vitally important to us that  all lesbian, gay and bisexual people are fully informed of their rights and know how to use them.

Please let us know if you need more information or how we can help you.Tel:0845 3 30 30 30 or e-mail: info@lgf.org.uk
