There is a book group for reading gay and lesbian interest fiction which meets monthly on a Monday at Manchester Central Library.
The website information for them is a little out of date but you can contact Libby Tempest who organises it by calling 0161 234 1981 or emailing l.tempest@manchester.gov.uk to find out more. Or keep checking the library website. Copy and paste the following link in to your web browser:

I would be really interested in any gay book groups in Manchester. I really have looked for one, but not found anything. I read all the time - current Edmund White's biography of Jean Genet and Brian Greene's The Fabric of the Cosmos. Alan Hollinghurst's _The Spell_ is up next. Surely there must be some people who want to discuss books?
