Event Full Details: When you make decisions about local services, do you take the needs of LGB&T people into account? Do you know what they are? If not, we're here to help...

The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (LGF) together with ASK and CVS Cheshire East have been exploring the local LGB&T community to find out what it’s like to be lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or trans in Cheshire East. Specifically we were interested in local LGB&T community networks and activities and how we can support these in future to make sure the needs of this community are more visible.

Now we're offering you a chance to get direct feedback from this research as well as lots of other useful information and an opportunity for networking over lunch. The morning session will include:

- a focussed session on the value and importance of sexual orientation and gender identity monitoring applied to the commissioning process
- an overview over the needs and issues faced by LGB&T people and how these can be included within local Joint Strategic Needs Assessments and Health & Wellbeing Strategies
- information on where to get help, guidance and support

To book a place please email Valeska at valeska.matziol@lgf.org.uk and if you are planning on staying for lunch, make sure to include your dietary requirements.
