Event Full Details: Hate Crime Awareness Week 12-19th October As part of Hate Crime Awareness Week, the Trafford LGB&T Worker delivered an event in Stretford Mall. The focus of the event was to raise awareness of how and why hate crime can and should be reported. The event included involvement from two local PCSOs who spoke with members of the public on a range of issues; TransForum Manchester, a Transgender discussion group and mutual peer support forum who ran arts and crafts; Local councillor Dolores O’Sullivan and Kate Green, MP for Stretford and Urmston and Former Shadow Equalities Minister. Activities on the day included speaking with members of the public, distributing LGF resources (particularly the hate crime guides) and the promotion of The Hive, its activities and that it is a safe space for all, including LGB&T people.
