A handful of young people came over to the stall.  The youth centre was unusually quiet and very few young people were present but I feel the young peopel are getting to know me, who I work for, The LGF etc

3 in depth chats with young men about sexual orientation and engaging them in conversation and the activities on the stall - including language, perceptions and sterotypes

5 young women engaged with the 'when to say gay' activity on the stall and came up with suggestions of how to confront homophobic language:
"sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me" In response to 'your trainers are gay' "tough shit, you didnt buy them and I feel comfortable in them""do you think I want to listen to your opinion? - Nah, CYA""you know that voice you have, do me a favour and shut it up :)""Are you a dickhead through?" You look more stupid calling me gay, you sure you are comfortable with yourself? Na didn't think so mate""Are you a child?" Alternatives to using 'gay' shit crap poo
