Event Full Details: The long established Police Drop-in Surgery at The Lesbian & Gay Foundation is held every Thursday evening. Greater Manchester Police have for many years been providing a support service to the LGBT community in Manchester and have committed to providing a regular service at the home of LGF. GMP Community PC’s and Support Officers will be available every 1st and 3rd Thursday to help with any issues at all that the LGBT community think the police can help with. Issues such as hate crime, domestic violence, bullying, nuisance neighbours, homophobia etc are all areas that this service is designed to specifically deal with. If you have traditionally felt uneasy about calling the police or asking for their support in the past, the Drop-In Service at the LGF is here to help you. The police advice surgery is held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday evening between 6pm and 8pm at The Lesbian & Gay Foundation, Number 5, Richmond Street, Manchester M1 3HF.
