Publish Date: 28/03/2012

The Lesbian & Gay Foundation are working in partnership with the BBC to produce a number of Wellbeing Podcasts for our website and we need your help.

We are looking for lesbian, gay and bisexual people who have had first hand experience of one or more of the following, who would feel comfortable talking about their experiences on a podcast:

Depression,Anxiety,Self harming,Coming out,Accessing LGF’s Counselling Service,LGBT Wellbeing Clinic,Pop-In Service or Helpline.

We are going to be producing approximately 10 podcasts on a range of different issues, all of which will feature short clips of people talking about their own experiences.

We hope that by involving people with lived experience and past users of our services, listeners will get a better insight and understanding into the issue and it will be comforting to know that they are not alone.

Recordings will take place either in a central Manchester location, or at Media City in Salford.

We will be able to support you in talking about your experiences and can ensure that your real name isn’t used if you would prefer to remain anonymous.

If you would be interested in taking part, please contact Lucy Rolfe, Wellbeing Co-ordinator.E-mail:lucy.rolfe@lgf.org.uk or call 0845 3 30 30 30.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 4th May 2012.
